Meet Mango, the sweetest Samoyed with a heart as fluffy as her snow-white fur. Mango loves travel, adventure and education and most of all to share it with companions. She is a fun-loving ambassador leading exploration across the U.S. and the world. Travel with Mango sparks a curiosity about all the places there are to see, creating a classroom in motion or independent minds at play. Every journey is an opportunity for joy, discovery and learning filled with memories so sweet.
The Samoyed breed is known for their friendly and cheerful personalities, as well as their striking appearance. Samoyeds have a sweet and engaging face and are noted for their "smiles". Playful and energetic, they form strong bonds with their families and want to join in all activities.
ERICA LEIGH
Erica Leigh is a Massachusetts-based children’s book illustrator whose work blends painterly warmth with playful storytelling. A fine artist for over 20 years, she combines a hand-crafted digital style with experience teaching art and music to young children—creating illustrations that are engaging, expressive, and rich with detail.
Erica has illustrated and designed 17 children’s books spanning fiction, nonfiction, and bilingual series. Her work has received recognition including the 2022 IPNE Best Children’s Book Award, a 2023 Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards honorable mention, and a Readers’ Favorite 5-star review.
Erica is thrilled to bring her love of storytelling, illustration, and travel to Mango’s Travel Tails, serving as the series’ illustrator and designer and helping bring Mango’s real-world adventures to life on every page.

Mango's mom and dad, Ellen and Paul, are co-founders of Pawsitively Yours Publishing, LLC and creators of Mango's Travel Tails--your new favorite picture book series!
For Ellen and Paul, no adventure would be complete without their lovable K9 companion by their side. Ellen was inspired to write this travel series after seeing how much children adored encountering Mango everywhere they went.
Out of a desire to give back, Ellen and Paul are donating a portion of the proceeds from book sales to animal welfare organizations.
